Kylie

asking her some personal questions. I promise to be gentle with you. Well! I’ll
try and do my best.
Here’s Lynn,
Q:
Welcome Lynn, I'm so glad you could be us.
Lynn:
Thank you so much Mya! It’s been so nice getting to know you.
Q:
Can you tell us a little about yourself? Are you married or do you have kids?
Lynn: I've been married for almost
twenty years! We have a twin and a teen
who keep me on my toes.
Q:
did you find it hard to start writing?
Lynn:
I didn't find it hard at all. Before writing Golden Change, I had
previously written a fan fiction. When the idea for Golden Change came to me, the
first draft of this book flowed through me so fast I felt like I was watching a
movie and it just had to type fast to let it unfold. It did take a long time
for me to edit the book and submit it to a publisher.
Q:
What one word would you use to describe yourself?
Lynn:
Complex. The outside layer of my life is may seem
pretty boring. I'm a stay at home mom, I
volunteer in the classroom, at the library, and volunteer at civic
organizations. When you look at the
center, I think I have a wicked sense of humor, I love erotic romance fiction and
am very open minded.
Q:
A little bird told me that you enjoy reading. Is it true?
Lynn: It is true. I am always reading
a book, sometimes two! In addition to
erotic romance I love mainstream romance and mysteries.
Q:
what is your favorite Book and why?
Lynn:
Can I pick two? My first favorite book series is the Harry Potter
series by J.K. Rowling. I found the
books so enjoyable. The characters were complex
and entertaining. My second favorite
series is The Clan of the Cave Bear series by Jean Auel. This series challenged my beliefs about
religion, sexuality and who we are as people.
Q:
Do you have pets? If so, how many?
Lynn:
We do, we have a very lovable
lab.
Q:
How did you get started writing M/M/F story?
Lynn:
My story idea came from wondering
about different society’s sexual expectations, sexual social norms and how they
differ from modern western sexual expectations and norms. So I started dreaming of a different society,
one that was completely different than I had grown up with.
Because
my ideas were so different than anything on earth, I made a planet that my
characters could live on. On the planet Zehave,
where my characters live, young men live with a married couple while he goes
through what they call a “Golden Change”.
The
Golden Change is a physiological process where the husband provides the young
man with a substance in his semen that helps him change from having a silver
sheen on his skin to a golden sheen.
Because this process is highly sexual the wife helps him through this
progression.
Q:
Your first book, Golden chance. Can you tell us a bit about your main
characters?
Lynn: Kylie is an earth woman, married to a
Zehavian man. The culture of the society
is very sexual and she has had difficulty adjusting. She has a huge heart, which she wears on her
sleeve. She is open and caring. She has been lonely on the planet and hasn’t
been accepted, but she doesn't let any of that change who she is on the inside.
Aiden
is Kylie’s husband. His main concern
throughout the Golden Change is the health and emotional well-being of his
wife. He has broken tradition by marrying
a woman from another planet, and he wants to protect her heart. In some ways he might be considered the
alpha, dominant man, but he definitely has a soft side.
Jacob
is the young man who comes to live with them.
He is an exuberant youth who is excited to go through his change. He has a lot of growth to go through, not
only the physiological change to become gold, but he needs to mature as a man
as well.
Throughout
the book, all of the characters grow and find a very satisfying happily ever
after!
